Hi,

I think, this question as been post several time, but i can't find solution and i'm a bit blocked on my problem.

I use coyote since several years, on an old pc with only floppy drive, and i'm remaking floppy very very often and i want to find an other solution..... The point that i love in CL is that when i restart the computer my config is safe and there is no hard drive to permit writting data...

So, my question is to know if i can boot CL on usb device without hard drive. I no that is this case i can't use old computer, but my old ones are in end of life and the next olds will support usb boot but without floppy ;o/.

is it possible to do that, and how nned i to process to do it ?

Tks for idea or help ;o)

i cant say that i have even thought about it, but what comes to mind is having a bios that supports legacy USB and not having any other boot devices other than the usb device and ide HDD. with that said, the bios might recognize the USB device as a boot up device and load the boot file for transfer to the HDD. If the BIOS has a boot priority option, the USB device might be in the list and then can be set as first boot device.
